Verdict

Second at Wincanton on his reappearance, Coup De Pinceau has his first run in a maiden having contested a novices’ handicap last time at Cheltenham. There is a slight concern regarding stamina but he has the same handicap mark as GOLDEN SUNRISE (NAP). One of two in this running for the Tizzard team, Harry Cobden’s five-year-old looks an embryo chaser but he came up a smart novice at Chepstow last month and is improving with experience. Stablemate Brynmawr has an absence to overcome but As I See It looks a big danger on his second to subsequent winner Samuel Jackson over course and distance last month.
