In depth

Verdict

Premier Hope is the fancy here ahead of Malaga Boy, Billesey and Master T. Emmas Lavelle's mare comes here on the back of a fair third at Ludlow behind stablemate Blaeberry. That was her second run in the visor and it seems to have worked to a degree, although she can still be a tad too keen in her races. Her form has a solid look to it and on a fair mark she should go well. So Brash and Billesey both have claims, but neither excels in the jumping department, whilst Master T has won at the track before and needs to be watched in the betting for his shrewd trainer despite his recent form looking pretty poor. Malaga Boy tries the visor for the first time in the hope of eeking out some improvement from this inconsistent sort, and whilst the reliable Sninfia could run into a place, we are happy to come down on the side of Premier Hope.
