In depth

Verdict

Twice a winner already, GREY SPIRIT appears to handle all types of going and Fergus Gregory’s claim reduces his double penalty by 3lb. He sets the standard in this ahead of last month’s course and distance winner Atholl Street, though the latter probably has more scope. Heart Of A Lion was well supported at Huntingdon after a pipe-opener at Wetherby but proved no match for favourite Getaway Luv. Fontana Ellissi was third in a bumper in his only career start to date but is Flat bred as is Jersey Wonder, a four times winner on the level having a first run for a new yard.
