Verdict

PENNELLIS and Nothing Is Forever are the obvious two to concentrate on in this line-up whilst it could be too early to give up on Singapore Reef. Nick Williams' runner is presumably none the worse for wear despite pulling up at Haydock seven days ago and showed enough last season to remain of interest for the time being. He does have something to prove though so it's easy enough to pass him over in favour of Pennellis who looks capable of making his mark in handicap company following a respectable third at Cheltenham. Nothing Is Forever is edging up the weights after two wins in his last four starts but should give his running whilst Shipboard Romance may be able to challenge for the minor money.
