In depth

Verdict

Shalati Princess, Barranco and Brochrua are the three to focus on in this selling hurdle and the vote is given to Shalati Princess. The selection is nothing special and has yet to win in 10 attempts, but he was a good second behind Lady Maranzi at Chepstow last time and with ground conditions to suit he is taken to score in this modest contest. Barranco rates the main danger as he is eased in grade today and he hails from a yard that merits plenty of respect. However, although he should handle the ground his overall form is very moderate and he can't be backed with any confidence. Brochrua is another with claims as he finished in mid-division at Exeter behind Ghabesh last time. However, his best form is on a faster surface and for that reason we will take him on today. Nepal has failed to complete on two of his last three starts but he is another who would have place claims on his best form. However, for the winner we will stick with Shalati Princess.
