Verdict
Liathroidisneachta is proving expensive to follow but looks to have an easy task this afternoon and gets the vote ahead of Something Wells and Southern Classic. Jono O'Neill's six-year-old has finished runner up in his three races this season, but has come up against some decent types, including the smart Glasker Mill. There is nothing of that calibre in today's contest and he should gain an overdue victory. Something Wells has at least managed a win, it came in France last May. He made a promising British debut when third behind What A Vintage over course and distance and although he has to give weight away this afternoon he should be involved in the finish. The newcomer Southern Classic is nicely bred and should be monitored closely in the betting. The best of the rest could be Hambaphambilli, but Liathroidisneachta looks to have his best chance of the seson and gets the decision.
