In depth

Verdict

Recent winners White On Black and Sonnengold are worthy of respect here along with Blu Teen, however we will take a chance with Classic Role. The selection was most impressive when chasing home the smart Straw Bear on his seasonal debut and has since taken decent opposition. He wasn't beaten too far behind the Cheltenham bound Noland in a very good contest and a repeat of that running could be good enough this afternoon. Course and distance winner White On Black is open nto plenty of improvement and Sonnengold, a winner on attrocious ground at Lingfield will appreciate any more rain. However the main threat may come from Blu Teen who didn't get the run of the race last time, but had previously been very impressive when beating the 125 rated Amour Multiple. Of the others Cetshwayo can step up on his debut run, but in a very tricky contest Classic Role just gets the verdict.
