Verdict
An amateur riders' handicap hurdle. Stopwatch is actually quite well-handicapped on the best of his form having won from a mark of 79 (80 today) at Huntingdon in March. Lizzys First, twice a course and distance winner (when rated 90 and 97) but that was back in 1999 and lacks a recent run. Ghutah won off 84 (now 90) at Exeter on 1 October and was running well when falling next time. He can run well from this mark. Field Master won over course and distance last time (30 Oct, hold Fionnula's Rainbow on that run by two-and-a-half lengths) off 83 (now 91) and should give his jockey another good ride. My Bold Boyo, the TEAMtalk selection, races off 103 and his most recent win came from a mark of 100. However, he could still progress further and has a good rider booked. Kingston Venture has won from a mark of 112 (now 102) and his trainer thinks this type of trip might suit so, on that basis, cannot be dismissed. Pure Fun won over three miles at Ludlow on 10 October rated 93 (now 97), is from a good stable and is relatively lightly raced. He takes quite a big step back in trip but his chance is certainly not a forlorn one.
