Verdict

The two main players look to be Sherwoods Folly and Wyldello, with the former getting the call. Sherwoods Folly is another horse that comes here from having run in last year's Aintree April bumper, a race that has proven to be a rich source of winners. That said, he has already run in hurdles, showing promise in each start and, with this being a modest contest, has to hold every chance. Wyldello rates as a big danger having finished second on her hurdling debut in a mares' race and, prior to that, having shown good bumper form. The Real Deal's three-mile Chepstow win brings him in to things, although the drop back in trip on this sharper track will be a different kettle of fish today, Plenty of these have shown bumper promise, including Mole's Chamber and Nodforms Victoria but, for the selection, we return to Sherwoods Folly.
