Verdict

Doyannie has undergone wind surgery since placing on fast ground at Wincanton on last year’s debut while Crossfirehurricane was still beaten a distance when third at Ffos Las in November. Coquelicot is preferred having placed in both starts to date, though over shorter trips in junior bumpers, so it’s GRACES ORDER that makes most appeal. The latter never threatened the winner when third at Hereford last month but Olly Murphy’s mare handled the testing ground and should go close in this. The £68,000 purchase Kilmington Rose is a newcomer to note along with New Clare, a half-sister to a couple of winning hurdlers.
