Verdict

A tricky puzzle to solve. Petito is consistent and had Midnight Opera behind when second at Wincanton last month but he has a poor strike rate and would probably prefer a faster surface. Green To Gold has been done no favours by the handicapper, while Triple Bluff returns from a break and Jigsaw Dancer has proved unreliable over fences in the past. Riddleofthesands was let down by his jumping again when only third at Leicester earlier this month so we'll give another chance to MORENITO. There's just a chance he'll appreciate this drop in distance after weakening quickly over 2m6f at Fakenham last time, though he hasn't been at his best on slower ground in the past.
