NonRunner

In depth

Verdict

Both Deputy Jones and A New Siege posted better efforts in first-time cheekpieces. The former went close over a shorter trip here while the latter placed at Hereford but also steps up in distance. Cobra Angel finished runner-up over track and trip last month though it was soft going on that occasion so a chance is taken on POTTERS VISION (NAP). Emma Lavelle’s mare returned from a lay-off with a third at Stratford and the winner has gone in again subsequently. Dangan Des Champs and Well Briefed filled the placed in novice company at Chepstow though neither threatened the winner.
