NonRunner

In depth

Verdict

More quantity than quality on show in a seller which has attracted a bumper entry. At the age of 14, INVICTA LAKE’s best years are behind him but he is ridiculously well handicapped with Tom Buckley taking off 5lb and could be worth an each-way interest. At the opposite end of the weights, Chepstow third Zero To Hero must have a decent chance even though he is still a maiden. Away For Slates hasn’t run over hurdles in more than two years but hasn’t been disgraced over fences recently and the yard in in good form. Airton also goes on the shortlist with Shadow's Girl looking the pick of her stable’s three runners. The Weasel may be best of the rest if first-time cheekpieces have the desired effect.
