In depth

Verdict

THE WIDDOW MAKER probably need only reproduce his run behind Fabrique En France at Wincanton to land a very ordinary maiden. Frankeur, placed in bumpers in France, beat only one home at Newbury on his debut for Dan Skelton but is probably better than that. Tibbie Dunbar ran four times on the Flat last year after hinting at ability in bumpers but she is nothing special. Lusitanien was third at Chepstow last month but was beaten a long way.
