Verdict
Possible Pardon was a good second on his seasonal debut behind Courage Under Fire at Fontwell, a race for which he was sent off favourite. He ran as if in the handicapper's grip and for that reason is passed over on this occasion. Hanover Square was just touched off by Atavistic over a similar trip ion his reappearance, and his subsequently disappointing effort may be down to the fact that the race came too soon. Still on an attractive mark, he has had a rest since then and TEAMtalk gives him a chance to make amends here. Restless Wind was a good winner at Kempton on soft ground before disappointing at Ludlow on fast ground. With conditions back in his favour, he could go well at a fair price. The Land Agent has been in good form this season, but ran as if in need of the race when third at Newbury behind Merchant's Friend. He will strip fitter today, but will have to be at the top of his game to win off a mark this high. Meander could also be given a chance on his best form, but on his return to action at Ludlow he was let down by his jumping and will need to brush up in that department if he is to score in this competitive affair.
