In depth

Verdict

Pepporoni Pete is impossible to oppose here with Havenstone and Just Supposin rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair fifth in a grade 2 last time out behind Tagula Blue, this represents a big drop in class and he need only run up to that mark to win this with plenty in hand. Havenstone rates the main danger as he won well last time when beating Jazz City but this looks tougher and his overall profile leaves him with a little to find. Just Supposin ran as if in need of the run on his first start this season and is sure to strip fitter here but his best form is on faster ground. Of the remainder City Streets is a well bred sort from a top yard and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Pepporoni Pete who gerts the confident vote.
