In depth

Verdict

Ingleby Hollow has won twice around here but was in poor form on the Flat and over jumps when last seen at the end of last year. CHAIRMAN POWER, a son of Galileo who cost £525,000 as a yearling, wouldn't have been expected to be contesting a low-grade stayers' race like this though his best run came when tackling the trip at Wolverhampton so could have a bit more in him. Glan Y Gors has managed to win eight races but did better when dropped back to 1m4f at Pontefract last month while Ghadbbaan was staying on over that trip here on Monday and wasn't beaten far. Victoriano, who won twice over the trip on fast going for Archie Watson last summer, will be better for his debut for Brian Ellison and could be the main threat.
