In depth
Verdict
Duchess Rose is a €85,000 half-sister to several winners, including the smart Forest Ranger and Home Cummins, and might be the pick of the newcomers ahead of Voice Of Wisdom and Ocean Wave. The latter’s trainer also saddles Miss Calacatta, hooded for the first time after a fair debut at Newmarket. Retrouvailles makes her debut on Turf but Timeless Soul outpaced market rival Dancing To Win to score readily at Beverley and is improving with experience, though she has to give 7lb to BELIEF (NAP). A half-sister to four winners, the Haggas filly sets the standard on her latest third at Nottingham.
