In depth

Verdict

Edinson Kevani hasn't progressed since runner-up at Southwell on his debut but Highland Premiere led 2f out before quickly headed at Nottingham and should be suited by the faster ground. Much better must have been expected of SMULLEN at Pontefract as he started odds-on. He never really got going on the fast ground and today's conditions should see him in a different light. Tudor is by Zoffany out of a middle-distance winner so a longer trip should suit in time but Young Winston is by Churchill out of a mare with plenty of pace in her pedigree.
