Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Shevchenko runs as if crying out for a mile so with that in mind we will side with Flying Goose ahead of Trivia. Luca Cumani has his horses running well and Flying Goose can be expected to be fit enough to do himself justice today returning from a break of 213 days. He showed plenty of ability when a runner-up on that occasion (his debut), and he looks worth siding with today. Trivia drops a furlong in trip after a good effort at HQ recently. However the drop in trip looks a negative as he was staying on strongly that day. Morbick is of interest now stepped up a furlong in trip but may need further in time, whilst Apache Dawn has experience but presumably limited ability. Forrest Flyer's stable is flying and he can be expected to improve markedly on his rubbish debut, whist Onatopp should be watched for market support again but is no world beater. Flying Goose then, gets the nomination.
