        Verdict

        Few appeal in this and it’s probably worth giving another chance to ADMIRAL ROOKE. Michael Dods’ charge is 0-12 but has gone close the last twice under Callum Rodriguez, who again takes off 3lb, including once over track and trip. Straight Ash switched stables after winning at Brighton a month ago and ran poorly at York while Gleaming Sun has shown his best form on Fibresand. Mearing has been favourite in two of his last three starts and continues to slip down the handicap while Travel Lightly ran well at Nottingham after a surprise victory at Ayr so may have more to offer.
