Northernpowerhouse is a fast-improving 7f specialist who has only been raised 2lb for a last-gasp victory at Haydock last month. Arch Moon pulled too hard when tried over 1m2f last time so shouldn’t be written off just yet. Ghaly has won on heavy and good to firm so seems to handle all conditions and he should be able to cope with a 4lb rise for scoring at Newmarket but Shelir is a bit more exposed and the handicapper has reeled in Silver Dust who, like Byron's Choice, seems best at Beverley. ARCHAEOLOGY may well have made a winning return to action at Redcar last week had he found daylight. On that evidence, he is well treated on a mark of 80 and could go one better here if this doesn’t come too soon.
