      Verdict

      Southern Voyage bids for a hat-trick having made a winning start in handicaps with a hard fought victory at Ascot. But STRAWBERRY ROCK faced tougher opposition than this both when winning at Windsor in June and when second at Newmarket last time and Hugo Palmer’s charge looks worth another chance. Eagle Court’s better recent efforts have been over 2m though he’s back on a winning mark while Liverpool Knight debuts for a new yard and may improve.
