        Verdict

        SECRET BRIEF showed a big improvement when runner-up in a Class 2 maiden at York and a similar effort would make him hard to beat. Arracourt also improved at Beverley last time without troubling the winner and Sands Chorus caught the eye staying on for third at Doncaster on his racecourse debut. Tony Hamilton prefers the newcomer Bleu Astral to Cosmic Statesman and the former is worth noting given he's a half-brother to the prolific Spirit Of The Law.
