      Verdict

      Grigolo beat Special Venture at Goodwood before making all at Salisbury last month. He's up a further 7lb and Alans Pride has been raised 9lb for making every yard over 7f at Musselburgh on his latest start. Abbey Angel also steps up in trip after opening her account at Beverley and should figure but the vote goes to Newcastle maiden winner MUKHAYYAM (NAP). Breeding suggests this extra distance will not be a problem and there should be more to come from the Stoute colt now handicapping for the first time.
