        Verdict

        One Trick Pony, Sweetly Sharp and Little Trump look the three to concentrate on here and the vote is given to One Trick Pony. The selection won well over this course and distance last time when beating Looking North. That was a good effort considering the ground was softer than ideal for him, and on this more suitable surface he should take plenty of beating. He has a fair draw and the useful apprentice Colin Haddon taking 5lbs off his back which further fuels the confidence. Sweetly Sharp is well-drawn and rates the main danger. This filly won well last time when beating Garstang, but that wasn't the strongest of races and she will need to improve again to get her head in front today. Little Trump showed improved form to be second behind Christa Bee at Southwell last time, but she gave the impression that day that she would be suited by a longer trip and for that reason we will take her on. Roonah made a promising debut and is another to note in the market, but One Trick Pony sets a fair standard for the rest and is taken to score.
