Verdict

Not the easiest of finales for punters to sort out, especially as the in-form and very well handicapped Solarmaite has done most of his racing, and all of his winning, at Southwell. But he's 12lb lower on Turf and, with his rider claiming 5lb, is very well in. Blazeofenchantment has a similar profile though he's won on Polytrack as well as Fibresand. He's also much better handicapped on Turf than the all-weather and has to be on the short-list. Tanawar is 1lb lower than when successful at Catterick in September but this can go to SAKHALIN STAR. Richard Guest's charge has only won once in 24 starts, on heavy going at Doncaster a year ago, but has returned in good form and would have gone very close at Beverley on Monday if he'd had a clear passage.
