        Verdict

        This is a wide open selling handicap and so a token selection here is Crush On You, Lilac Star and Blue Empire are also expected to run well. Reg Hollinshead has his string in fine fettle and Crush On You does at least boast winning form. That success did come on the all-weather at Wolverhampton in January, however she did win on fast ground last summer. She looked on the way back to form last time and she can go well at a decent price. Lilac Star has to shoulder top-weight but she has claims on the pick of last season's placed efforts. Blue Empire caught the eye with an improved effort at Yarmouth last time out and ground and trip are ideal. Cecina Marina showed a glimmer of ability last time out and could be the best of the out-siders. However Crush On You does know how to win and she may well gain another success today.
