    In depth

    Verdict

Sharaab gained a deserved first victory of the season last time out and can go in again this afternoon, Silver Mont and Leonardo's Friend could be the main obstacles. Don Cantillon's six-year-old had put in two solid efforts before obliging in good style at Yarmouth. With ground and trip ideal once again he is hard to oppose. Silver Mont ran too badly to be true last time out at Wolverhampton and is better judged on his Catterick victory back in June. Leonardo's Friend is starting to run into a bit of form and may get into the places at a decent price. Next Flight is entitled to come on for a seasonal debut and could be the best of the rest. However Sharaab has plenty going for him again this evening and he gets our vote.
