Verdict
A competitive opener that can be taken by Handsome Lady, with other recent winners Flossytoo, World At My Feet and Bright Moll worthy of respect. The selection may not go on to emulate last year's winner Attraction, but there was still plenty to like about the way she did the job at Ayr first time out. A five length winner from Smiddy Hill in a maiden auction contest, she should improve for that run and can follow up here. Flossytoo is still getting the hang of things after two outings and she hung when winning last time out. There is more to come from her but things will happen quickly here and she may not be able to take advantage. World At My Feet tackles the course and distance for the third time in as many starts and came good at the second time of asking last time out when running on well to land a similar race. She could give the selection most to do. Another to consider is Bright Moll, who has only raced with cut in the ground in two starts to date, but has shown promise in winning at Folkestone and then finishing just a head behind Celtic Spa at Nottingham last time. Another solid effort looks on the cards, but for the selection we are happy to stick with Handsome Lady.
