        Verdict

        RED BARON went close to recording a hat-trick when finding only Out Do too good at York on Thursday. Another bid bid is expected from him and he can confirm superiority with Monsieur Joe. Ballesteros ran well at Chester on his reappearance having slipped down the weights and can turn the tables with runner-up Confessional. Long Awaited went close at Goodwood a fortnight ago but has been raised a further 2lb while Silvanus has been raised 6lb after landing a conditional sprint at Chester. Online Alexander reverts to handicapping off a 5lb higher mark than when winning at York in August but Free Zone has a shout on last year's second at the same track.
