In depth

Verdict

Electric Mistress pulled hard on debut at Newcastle but was still a clear second best behind favourite Art Power, though was beaten almost six lengths. She is certainly not bombproof in this but Seas Of Elzaam is pretty much exposed and even harder to recommend. Excel And Succeed would have strong claims on her third at Beverley last year while Tim Easterby gives a debut to four-year-old Pattaya, who is out of a dam that has produced winners with all four of her offspring to so far race. Dot The Eyes and UNAPOLOGETIC both have the pedigree to win races but Richard Fahey’s Kodiac filly gets the nod.
