Verdict
Summon Up Theblood won well last time and he can score again here at the main expense of Montaquila and Shannersburg. The selection beat Rich Kid at Windsor last time and he looks to be on the upgrade. He has his ground and with the yard in decent nick he stands out as the one to beat. Montaquila did not get home on his return from a break over a mile at Ayr last time, so logic would suggest that he might be worth taking on today on his seasonal bow. Shannersburg disappointed at Leicester last time but this faster ground should suit and he should come on for that recent outing. Avertis looked a nice type on his debut so this colt makes appeal on his handicap bow, but Summon Up Theblood arrives here in good form and he can win again.
