        Verdict

        Classified stakes races can often prove to be as competitive as handicaps and this is no exception with plenty of the 12 runners here holding chances. Among those with more obvious claims are Michael Chapman's Chispa, who has not won for some time but has slipped to a fair mark and has shown some thing like his old form recently, Magic Rainbow who comes here fit from the all-weather and will go on the ground, and Sunley Sense, a good second in a better race at Kempton last time.
