Verdict

A modest bunch, it would seem, and the betting market might provide you with all the clues that you need in terms of finding the winner. Our choice is Lavender Moon ahead of Jane's Dilemma and Make Acquaintance. Lavender Moon showed late promise when eighth on her Haydock debut and, to be fair, this race will not take much winning so she can go well today. The joint-most-expensive of these at 20,000 guineas (along with the selection), Jane's Dilemma has at least shown some ability, particularly when finishing fourth at Wolverhampton last time. Okay, the form is modest but so are her opponents. Of the others, Arabian Fern was cheaply acquired, Amy Lionheart at least got closer to Artdeal on run two than she had on run one so may have more to come today, Make Acquaintance is at least related to winners, but Next Best's placed effort last time came at today's level so she might go well again. For the selection, though, we will side with Lavender Moon.
