Verdict
Fast Freddie looks to have everything in his favour in the finale and he is preferred to Jack Rackham and Maia. The selection was pulled-up in a Group 3 race at Goodwood last time when he weas reported to be lame. However, he had previously run two solid races on the all-weather and the fact that he was entered in a Group race would suggest that he is quite well-regarded by connections. This does not look a strong contest and he stands out as the one to beat. Jack Rackham was a little disappointing at Hamilton last time but that was over 6f and he may be seen to better effect now that he reverts to the minimum trip. Maia is a well-bred filly from a stable that have had a good start to the flat turf season so this filly is obviously worth a look in the market. Foxy Music looks exposed and for the winner we will stick with Fast Freddie.
