Verdict

With Ingleby Star and Colorus both having to contend with racing under a penalty we take TOY TOP to land the finale. The pick is in decent form and last time she found the re-opposing Ingleby Star just half a length too good. Since then a weight swing in favour of the selection has occurred to the tune of 13lbs, which should be enough to see a reverse of that result. That said Ingleby Star has followed that victory with an impressive runners-up spot under a penalty before scoring last time. Because of that run of form he has an increased mark and a penalty to carry which won't stop him running well but certainly give the edge to the pick. Colorus only just scraped home last time so the penalty allotted to him might be telling while Weet A Surprise is probably still a little high in the handicap. It's a good end to the card and Toy Top should come out on top.
