Verdict

Ron Barr's SEA SALT made all the running when successful at Doncaster just under two weeks ago and he can follow up that victory over Master Of Song racing off just a 2lb higher mark today. Nigel Tinkler's French Art has been running consistently well of late and should be thereabouts again but is likely to have to settle for minor honours at best, while Richard Guest's Kilt Rock seems a shade high in the weights at present. Methaaly has claims on the form shown at Ascot two starts ago but disappointed last time and of more interest may be Bryan Smart's Violent Velocity, who has dropped to a fair mark. David O'Meara has done well in his short time training horses so Trans Sonic has to be considered but is seemingly better on the Fibresand.
