      Verdict

      None of these have looked like winning lately but it was soft going when VONDELPARK placed at Ripon back in April and he returns to a mile for the first time since having been recently gelded. Valstar finished runner-up at Doncaster in the same month while Duke Of Wybourne has failed to build on an earlier second at Newcastle and the remainder have little to recommend them.
