In depth

Verdict

CRAVEN is bred to get further so the fact that he could finish second to the odds-on Cold Case over this trip at York is a credit to him and he can go one better. The Van Man was a 100/1 chance over the track and trip on his debut but was up with the pace throughout and will have come on markedly for the run. Cheyenne Nation wasn’t far behind while Carvetii missed the break and got outpaced over an extended 5f at Wetherby but was going on at the finish.
