Enderman was beaten in a seller here last month but has run better in two subsequent handicaps. So Grateful is still a maiden but was only headed right on the line over the course and distance. After two promising efforts, Canaria Prince was well supported at Carlisle but pulled too hard and was soon done with. GORGEOUS GENERAL has won seven times on the all-weather but never on Turf. He was returning from a break when staying on strongly over Beverley’s stiff 5f last time and can finally lose his maiden tag on the grass. Brazen Idol has only run seven times but his two best efforts, including a victory, have been at Wolverhampton.
