Verdict
Astro King finished in front of On A Session and Jean Baptiste when third in last year’s renewal but is 7lb higher having placed again on a couple of occasions subsequently. Dubai Love drops in class in first-time cheekpieces having raced at Meydan without success earlier in the year but Pisanello scored at Beverley last week and new stablemate Starshiba returns to action on a winning mark. Tim Easterby runs three with jockey bookings suggesting Cruyff Turn will improve for his run behind stable companion and runner-up DELGREY BOY (NAP) at Haydock. But the latter scored on this card last year and another bold bid is expected. Empirestateofmind continued his improvement with a recent victory at Ripon and Trais Fluors scored off a higher mark at Sandown last term so can't be ignored.
