ARABIAN SPIRIT may defy the handicapper who's making life tough for the Fahey inmate. Put up 6lb for scoring at Ayr last August, he's been upped a further 8lb since, despite not finding the winner's circle. However, he ran a cracking race in a quality Newmarket handicap last time and deserves the utmost respect. Powerful Presence seems sure to live up to his name again as he continues to repel the assessor's efforts to slow his improvement. David O'Meara has done a superb job with him, posting four wins and three seconds in the last seven outings and he was just outpointed in a large-field York handicap latest. Dolphin Rock hasn't scored for over a year but always delivers his best and will appreciate returning to a mile, whilst Just Bond may be nine years old but is no back number, especially over a mile on quick ground.
