      Verdict

      Leodis has switched yards since winning easily over 1m6f at Redcar in June and is 7lb higher today. General Zoff scored over 2m at Beverley last month but could only manage fourth in this grade at Chelmsford last time while Buonarroti is back on the same mark as when winning at Ayr last season though it was heavy ground on that occasion. But THE KNOT IS TIED just missed out on a hat-trick when beaten a neck at Redcar last week and Tim Easterby’s charge gets another chance back over today’s longer trip.
