Bringerofthedawn did well when faced with heavy ground over hurdles so could do with some rain while four times hurdles winner Coolmill was tailed off on his only start over fences. Golden Plan has come to chasing a bit late in life and though he made a very encouraging start at Sligo he's another who has shown his best form on testing ground. He had Kilcarry Bridge a long way behind at Sligo though the latter can do better in quicker conditions. Rebel Turn was staying on at the finish over 2m2f at Galway so this trip should suit but the vote in a moderate contest goes to RENDEZVOUS PEAK. Gordon Elliott's charge ran an excellent race when just failing to concede weight to Guitar Pete over fences at Kilbeggan last August and though running poorly over timber last time the return to the bigger obstacles can see him take this.
