Verdict

Berties Dream won this last year on quick ground with Dancing Tornado six lengths back in fourth. He went to Cheltenham for the Pertemps Final and ran a fine race to be beaten less than seven lengths so with conditions likely to be in his favour he will make a bold bid take this again. Stonemason ran well in the Pertemps, only fading on the run-in, so he has to be considered a threat but Catch Me never really threatened so the vote goes to SHOP DJ. Her last two runs over hurdles have been behind Quevega at Cheltenham and she's run some fine races over fences against stiff opposition and her allowance will be a help.
