In depth

Verdict

Plenty of runners here but STYLE OF CAMPILE ran so well behind the odds-on Apt Manor at Galway that she must get the nod. Noel Meade's mare lost plenty of ground at the start that day but stayed on so strongly from the rear that she was only a neck behind the winner at the line. Taralga, three times a winner on the Flat, has shown promise over timber and is one to keep an eye on but Three Monkeys was a long way behind the selection at Galway and it's difficult to see a form reversal. Table Forty Six is a more likely threat as she made a very promising start to her hurdling career when a close fourth at Naas on Sunday and she's certain to have come on for the experience. Tommy Stack's Magen's Star has been running well on the level and is an interesting newcomer to hurdles.
