Verdict

Dermot Weld's bumper horses are always to be respected and Definite Answer is one to keep an eye on in the market. Flaming Dawn made a very pleasing debut under Rules when runner-up to a potentially useful rival at Punchestown last month and with further progress virtually guaranteed has to be on the shortlist. Kayf Blanco was a bit disappointing at Limerick after a very promising debut at Killarney while the four-year-old Gone Platinum probably found the ground too quick on his only start in the summer. WRATH OF TITANS was a very impressive winner of his only start between the flags and only failed narrowly to beat Moyle Park in a huge field of bumpers at Punchestown in April. Dessie Hughes should have him ready and he looks the one to beat.
