Verdict

MILANESQUE (NAP) came here for his handicap debut a fortnight ago after showing nothing in his previous starts and landed a real touch. His victory was never really in doubt and though he's gone up 10lb that shouldn't prevent a quick double. Dual point-to-point winner Adams Wood was returning from a very long break when a good fourth to the in-form Sunsetstorise at Fairyhouse last month and, with that under his belt, should get into the frame. Tooreen followed a close second at Sligo in September with a poor round of jumping here a month ago and can do better but Drishogue Boy is having to race off his hurdles mark and has shown nothing in four starts over fences. The veteran Toomdeely has never been a prolific winner with a strike-rate of 2-49 and seems unlikely to start now.
