Verdict

MARINO MARVEL has had 31 career starts and never won but went very close at Clonmel last week, when Rebel Turn was behind, and can race from the same mark. This won't take much winning and she can finally lose her maiden tag. Hughies Bay has an even worse strike-rate of 0-40 though his best recent run came over this trip on good ground at Punchestown so he has to be on the short-list. It's a surprise to see Chosen Hour dropping back to the minimum after scoring over 2m5f on soft ground at Limerick in December but Serious Ego produced his best run to date when tackling this course and distance in November.
